I have a quick question. Someone told me regarding exhaust, as far as bang for your buck. I should purchase an after market X-Pipe to connect to my factory headers and factory mufflers before I purchase a muffler system. I have a 99' Automatic Coupe with a Blackwing. I do not have money to burn, so what are your suggestions?
X-pipe at this point is pretty much worthless. What you need to do is to decide what you want first, sound or performance. An exhaust won't do much in the performance department but it will sound better than stock. If performance is what you want, then you money is better spent elsewhere. Most folks here will tell you that the best bang for the buck performance wise is to swap out the gears, especially if you have the 2.73 gears.
