Shift control assembly
This is the block that the shifter mounts on to. This block mounts to the torque tube with 2 bolts which go through bushings which are held in place by rubber bushings to reduce vibration I assume. One of the bushings is destroyed and the rubber grommit is missing. The other grommit is about to fail. GM doesn't sell just the bushing and grommit, and they want $300 for the whole unit. Any suggestions?
