Help with automatic shift ****
I was removing my console and dash and thought I needed to remove the automatic shift ****. Turns out I didn't but, I got the release button out, spring and all, but I can't remember how and can't figure how to get it back together. Can anyone help?

How did you get the button and spring out of the shift ****???? I'm replacing mine with wwc **** but the instructions from wwc are vague to say the least, about removing the original button and spring. Hope you can be of help.
