Cruise control not working HELP
1998 convertible 6spd. 402 stroker. The cruise control isn't working. I bought the car in december and it didn't work then. The previous owner said that he called the engine guy and he said that it was never unhooked. I checked the fuse under the passenger side panel. I checked all the fuses in the box in the engine compartment just for safety. all those work. The lights (if any) never come on in the dash. The switch has no play, it clicks back and forth fine. Any clues as to what to check next. Please and thanks.

Mine did not work due to a broken wire in the multifunction switch. You can do some diagnosis with a test light at the throttle module next to the pcm at the rear of the front passenger wheel well (remove plastic panel). A better way to test it is with a tech 2 which dealers and some shops have.
