I first posted this about 3 weeks ago and had some of you folks help me out by pointing me in the direction of the DIC, but I was off-shore in the GOM and could not practice it, but got home today and went through the DIC and cleared a couple "H" codes that appear to be history now, but I can't remove the BO446. I assume it's the actuator, but not clear on where it's located. If it's accessable where I can get to it without ripping the dash apart, I can take a look and see if I can't repair myself or dig through past threads for guidance. You guys got me this far, don't dessert me now......I promise to pass on anything note worthy from my encounters.
Thanks for the info...kinda what I figured. All I get on the passenger side with the A/C on is HOT air. Looks like it's going to be top off for awhile. Would you suggest having the stealership do this or can it be done without causing more problems than what I already have?
billspillers@hotmail.com I'm not afraid to tackle it myself. Just don't want to jump in half-cocked. I'll have to take another look @ the re-indexing thread that was mentioned earlier. I read so many threads sometimes the info doesn't stick the first time.
Yeah I know what you mean. If you find some good info you think you might need in the future, turn it into a Word Doc like I do.... I have a damn library in my Hard Drive now!
Just don't forget to pass the info along to someone who needs it!
I was going to ask if there was a way to file away certain threads for future reference, but I like your idea. Create a folder with sub-files for A/C, Exaust, performance etc...Thanks..
