somebody help?
It's TireWidth/HeightRatio/WheelDiameter
TireWidth is in millimeters and HeightRatio is the percent of sidewall
height related to width. So, a 295/35 (295 * .35 = 103.25) would
be slightly taller than a 285/35 (285 * .35 = 99.75), but a
285/40 (285 * .40 = 114) would be slightly taller than that 295/35.
The only thing to watch out for on the C5 is that the Diameter of
your rear tire is not smaller than the diameter of your front tires,
as that can confuse the ABS/ActiveHandling computer.
Do a quick search for "miata.net" on these forums, as there is
a handy calculator running around for seeing diameters and such.
