I want to remove my Granatelli MAF from my Blackwing to clean it (the MAF). It's been installed for about 4-5 months. I loosened the clamp but cannot get the MAF to budge. Is there a trick that anyone knows to begin to get it moving, or just use elbow grease? Also, if I get it off, should I lightly silicone the rubber to prevent this issue from happening again? Thank for the help!

Ed,
Take the Blackwing and MAF out of the car. Use a hairdryer to warm the plastic housing of the Blackwing into which the MAF is inserted. This will expand the plastic and make removal a lot easier.

The hair dryer is a good idea. Put a LITTLE grease around the connection before re-assembly and you won't have this problem next time. I always use a dab of dielectric or silicone grease for this and have not had a problem. :)
