Default Hurst Shifter Adjustment ?

I have a Hurst Billet/Plus Shifter #391-5085 installed on a 2002 Z06. The shift mechanism is very stiff with extra effort required.

Any suggestions on adjusting the shifter and/or the linkage to the transmission ?

........thanks

Nope, that's just how the shifter is. It's extremely precision 1-4, but not easy to use. It's meant to be slammed into gear, not grannied. You'll notice it's extremely notchy at low speeds, but once you're shifting at higher RPMs, you'll never miss a gear

Default shifter

Should have came with a spring package and instructions on how to
change them to make it less stiff. If it didn't call Hurst and get
the spring pac and instructions.
