Most guys on here will say to lose the run flats... I am sure those tires will ride better, but new EMT's will ride better than old, crappy and bald EMT's.
If you like the security of driving on no air to get to the shop, stick with run flats.
If you don't mind the risk, go with conventional tires.
I went with new wheels to work with the C6 EMT's...
Last month I had Mavis on Rt 59, install 4 Michelin Pilot Sport ZP run flats on my 2000 FRC. First I shopped them on line and got the best price at Discount Tire Direct. I printed it out and walked into Mavis and asked if they would match it. He called me the next day with a price about $10.00 cheaper. In the end, it was about $50.00 more because of sales tax but it was worth not having to deal with shipping, etc. BTW, the michelins are fairly quiet compared to the Goodyears.
When I brought it in for install, I pointed out to them that the tires are run flats, that they had to be careful of the pressure sensors when mounting, and that they needed spacers between their lift and the chassis to not damage the body. They put their best guy on it and I was out in less than an hour. Good experience, I would use them again. I have a friend with a late model Trans Am who had a similar experience.
