Go down to you local auto parts store (or even Sears) and pick up an inexpensive set of line removal tools. The set has several different sizes and you just pick the one you need, put it over the line, press it into the connection and while holding pressure, pull the line right out. Very easy.
BTW, be sure to keep an eye on any o-rings to be sure they're OK. I recommend putting a drop of clean motor oil on each o-ring prior to pushing the connections back together.

Robert

Default removal of fuel filter

I bought a fuel line seperator tool last night and was unable to remove the filter line going back into the engine compartment. I am having a tough time to getting the leverage that I would need to pull this line out of the filter. The other two connections into the filter appear to be snapped in by clastic clamps. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?
