Which Nitto 555 Tires??

There are three Nitto 555 tires.
1.Nitto 555 R
2.Nitto NT 555 RII
3.Nitto NT 555
Which tire is best for street?

555r is a drag radial, 555r II is a road race tire, and 555 is street radial. hope that helps you determine which best meets your need.

For the street you'd probably be happy with the regular 555's. I run 555's up front and 555R's (Drag Radials) out back.

What does "best" mean to you? Just a regular tire, the 555 will do. Best traction from a dig will be the drag radial, and the RIIs will give the best cornering as well as straight line traction almost as well as the drag radials.

I run the the R's in the back and RII's in the front. I think that is a pretty popular setup.

General Tire Exclaim UHP's. 410 from the tirerack. As sticky as the NT555's but at 240 dollars less. Just bought a set for my C5

I had the Nitto 555's on several cars in the past, and was amazed with the amount of time/mileage I got out of those tires with absolutely NO problems. Great tire, affordable, and somewhat underrated in myopinion.
