Here's some before/after dyno results for the Honker.

Test Summary -
1. baseline with "performance" intake: 399.9 rwhp
2. with Honker intake system: 419.4 rwhp (+19.5 hp over baseline)
3. with Honker plus tuning: 432.2 rwhp (+32.1 hp over baseline)

You can find the Vararams with some special pricing here for a little over $300 including shipping. A Honker is about $490 plus shipping unless you get a group price deal, or someone selling a used one.I think the problem with hydrolock is overstated with the Vararams. Why is it not a problem with the Honkers if they draw air from UNDER the car, and the Vararam draws it from the front? Measuring the HP difference shows that both improve performance, but as with any individual car, there will be differences from others. The process with the Vararam involves driving the car in a prescribed manner after installing it, and the computer will reprogram itself to the proper settings.This is included in the information package, and is discussed in various threads here.It may be apparent that I have one. The weather here in Jersey has been rotten ever since I got my vararam, and I've been waiting to install it, since my garage is just large enough to get the vette in, but doesn't allow any room to work. I'll be posting my thoughts on it's performance once it's in and set up. I can't wait. Hopefully this weekend .
