I'm looking at purchasing a new Corsa system for my 2000 convertible, and can't make up my mind if I should get the Indy or Touring version. I watched the video and listened to the demo and I'm still not sure. I read the Indy's are bolder and crisper. Any advise or comments would be appreciated.

p.s. I have Indys with an X-pipe on my 2000. You can tone down the Indys a tad with an x-pipe(still louder than the Touring version), there is no way to make the Touring edition louder. I always advise customers on this to make sure they aren't leaving any sound on the table.
Sometimes the Indy's aren't loud enough. I find I rev the engine more before shifting to I can listen the exhaust music.
The video's ok but doesn't reflect to true sound. When listed though a good stereo system you can get close but you need to know the volume level. So with that said find a local and listen to a real one.
I too was concerned that the Indy's would be too loud... but went with the overwhelming opinion of the forum() and decided on the Indy's. I am extremely happy with the sound this system puts out--- un-noticeable at cruising speed(no resonance), sexy, understated low idle rumble, and WOT sounds exactly like a V8 Corvette should--- STRONG. Some I saw here with the Tourings seemed like they wished they had "more". Go with the Indy's---you will not be disappointed, I promise :D :yesnod:

I added the Corsa x-pipe when I put on the Indys. From what I read it mellows out the Indys by themselves. Sounds great on the outside, very quiet at cruising speed.
Ive heard both Indies and touring.. the touring to me, sound stock.. not much to spend 800/900 dollars on.. If you have pre cats the touring will be absolutley nothing.. The indies are respectable.. and at WOT throttle pretty awesome..
the nice thing about the indies is you can have an intimate conversation at cruising speed... down shift and hit the throttle and you will turn heads in an instant.,.. that wont happen with the touring..
John: All Corsa's are street legal and not very loud. I have the Indy Pace Car with Pro tips on may 2001. It sounds good but IS NOT loud. If your car's stock exhaust system is worn out and needs to be replaced and you are not really interest in sound, go with the Touring. If you want to hear something for your money, go Indy.
It's worth the extra money to have someone do the install that knows what the hell he is doing and has the right tools.
If I had it to do again, I would buy the same Indy set.

Ditto! Could not have stated it better myself! :yesnod:
I have the Corsa Indy system and I couldn't be happier with it. Sounds almost stock at cruise speed. You almost forget it is there until you shift down to pass and then hammer it. Wow! What beautiful music. Actually, I have not heard the touring system on a car, but I don't see how this one can be improved on. I love mine and I believe you will also.
If you ask this forum, it seems that the overwhelming response always leans toward the indy's. I have the touring and am 100 percent satisfied. Its gets loud enough (for me) when you get on it but sounds civilized at idle. It is not the same as stock but probably not louder at idle - it has its own unique tone. Personally, I did not want to stray too far from stock - just wanted a better look (pro tips) and a slightly throatier sound. You should track down some members close by and listen to both and be your own judge.
