removing decal off rear window
Help Please,
I have a decal on a rear window that was place inside, on the defrost lines, I would like to remove it , put do not want to damage the defrost, afraid if I just pull it, the lines will come off with it.
Any thoughts?:
Thanks !!!

I would use some GOO-GONE, dont be afraid to soak the decal first. That will help it come off and soften the glue.

heat gun to soften the glue works well too. just get it hot enough to soften the glue but not scorch. back window must be glass and i assume yours is.

I'm sure that you'll get it off properly by following the previous advice, If not, grid repair kits are relatively cheap. Good luck.

That's very true. As a backup in case of damage the grid lines are silver oxide. To conduct electricity.
