Ok I'm stuck. I have an adjustable double roller chain, how the heck does the bottom sprocket come off from the crank? I can see what looks like a small key on it but no clue on how to remove it.
Also, will this thicker chain interfere with my SLP underdrive pulley I have coming?
I used a small puller. It is not on there tight. I just did not want to force it from the side. This may sound stupid make sure you pull the cam gear off 1st. Dont forget the oil pump shims with the dual chain. My motor came with the timing chain already installed I pulled it to check some things.
I have yet to hear of an LS2 timing chain breaking.
I just saw your other post your well into it good job. Get couple cans of 2+2 while your at it.
