I did a search and didn't find anything. I'm trying to get my hood gaps looking a little better and am having some trouble. The hood shuts pretty hard too...also trying to take care of that. The problem is that every time I move it in one direction to get something lined up (i.e. hood fender gap), it throws off another part that was already fine (i.e. hood bumper cover gap). I've been doing all the tweeking with the hinge/frame bolts. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I'm going nuts here!!!
Keep tryin, I've been there, done that! It DOES help to remember that your fenders adjust a LITTLe - try adjusting some of the hood gap by pulling part of the fender out or pushing the fender in some - adjust the fender front 1/2 and rear 1/2
it's a trial and error kind of thing - and most of the time it will seem like you are just fighting yourself, then suddenly, there it is, and you are happy
if my instructions don't make sense, pm me and I'll give you my phone number - easier to verbally describe than typing
Alright...I have the hood where there's a nice even gap with the front bumper cover but the driver's side gap is very narrow and the passenger's side gap is pretty wide. How can I move the hood so that I keep the front gap but move it side to side?
