My DIC says that I have low air pressure in my LR tire and after pumping it up to 35 lbs, the DIC keeps saying low pressure.
I've reset the Tire pressure sensors using the DIC and a pair of strong magnets, but this keeps coming up. Do I have to reset them and then drive the car?
You may have a defective sensor. Once you reset them they should display the air pressure accurately. At least that has been my experience. Try driving it and see what happens. At least the sensors for the 01 and up are cheaper, but still a hassle to have to replace it.
Drive the car after you add air. They should update. I don't recall where I read it, but the tire pressure monitors "sleep" to save battery power and when you drive it updates. I'm very sure someone will correct me if I am not remembering correctly.
I see that you have an '01, as I do. The batteries are probably wearing out, causing inaccurate readings. I read that they are only good for about 5 years or so. I replaced my sensors when I replaced my tires a couple of months ago and have no problems since.

When mine gets low, I pump it up and it is about 10 miles of driving before they read the correct psi. I just keep reseting the low pressure warning when it comes on until it gets the good reading.
It started after I took the car to the shop to get the SuperCharger put on and they left it sit outside in the cold weather and the tire pressure went down because of the temperature. They said that they had an 05 that did the same thing and when they put the car back inside, they reset themselves. I was hoping that mine would do the same (but Ireally knew better).
I'll pump a bit more air into the tires, reset the sensors and then take it for a drive. We'll see what happens!
Thanks again for the help! I Appreciate it!
Nouman, I knew that I could turn them off, but I like having them. Thanks for the info though!
