hydraulic hand-brake
Assuming that it is only used as a parking brake when the vehicle is stopped, how would the ABS react to this?
The ABS wouldn't be an issue, per se, but how would you "pressurize" the hydraulic brake system without the fluid simply flowing back into the fluid reservoir (much as it does when you install new pads and push the pistons back into the calipers) ??
You'd need to find some way to pressurize the master cylinder itself, or figure out a way to keep the pressure from getting back to it.
Not saying it can't be done ... just can't see that the "benefit" is greater than the cost, and the downside is you end up with a MUCH weaker parking brake (disc) than you have now (drum).
