Please Help..
I am looking at a covertor that a friend has its a PY4000E RB 10 10/05 And i emialed Yank about the convertor and talked to Dave he said:
That is a PT4000 converter the RB means it was rebuilt and there should
be a date code behind that when it was rebuilt. The converter will only
fit a corvette if it came out of a LT1 car. You car uses the LT1 style
converter not a LS1 version..
So my question is do i need a LT1 convertor for a 98 LS1 vette? Just something doesn't make any sense to me. And also needed to know if it was a lock up. But i have been unable to get ahold of him since. Thanks for any help..
