Default Water on pass side floor????

99 FRC-

I went through some rain and looks like it leaks somewhere? Had some water on the pass side floor.
Also dried it off and then went to a car wash. I can see a few drips coming from under dash/corner of door area. I can not tell exactly where its coming in but has anyone else had something like this happen?

Common problem. It could be your A/C drain that goes through the firewall is stopped up with debris. The water backs up into the passenger side footwell. Here's a thread Bill Curlee posted some great pics of what to look for.

If not that, check for leaks in your door, roof and window seals on that side.

pics dont help much. They are too close to tell where they are. Behind battery? Head?? And it looks like hes got the entire car ripped apart.
Is there a simple way to fix it?

And I checked the door seal, kinda hard to see if it seals if im outside the car spraying it, but all looks good??

Looks like the drain is behind the passenger side head toward the bottom.

I had water accumulate on the passenger side of my C4 several months ago. I knew instantaneously what my problem was...we were having a nor easter and I turned a corner going to work and wound up in three feet of water...actually I had water in the passenger side, the driver side, and every other side...

Good luck on hunting down your leak...hopefully it will be an easy fix.

I read the sticky and found the drain behind the battery was clogged, my drains by the wiper motor I blew out also, I must have to jack up the car to get to the one behind the head?? Thats the only one I couldnt get to.

I have a small water drip I see around the center of the car dripping on my driveway. Could this be that one behind the head?

Also my HVAC panel lights now wont turn off.
I got the battery out of it tonight so it wont go dead. I'll pull that hose from behind the head tomorrow.

And anyone seal their hinges? I read one post about, and it said scrape off your old sealer and put new on. I have no old sealer on there? Or what is he talking about? Is everyone just sealing around where the hinge bolds to the body?

that sounds like the BCM is wet. Lift the passenger floor panel and inspect.

I have everything out, and had a fan in there blowing it, also the carpet has had a fan on it since last night. the BCM and everything didnt look wet but i know water was around it, so thats probably it.
I think GM lacked some engineering in this area...hardcore. I thought keeping water out of the car and electronics was something they figured out years ago, guess i was wrong.

If it is a blocked AC drain you will see the water dripping from the center of the heater fan.
