Default dyno question

just wondering-im new to the corvette world(about 2 weeks). ive always had imports. i bought my 01 z06 with a halltech intake, dynatech header/exhaust/high flow cats. what kind of hp can i expect at the wheels-would this put me up or over the 02+ c5z? also-has anyone ever 1/4'ed their z06 -stock, or with close to the same mods as me. i know mfg says anywhere from 12.6 to 12.8, but i have a pretty knowledgeable buddy that says the car cannot pull under a 13.2(yeah it depends on driver, i know). basically-i need to dyno and 1/4 my car asap...but until then..help me out. thanks guys.

The stock 2002 Z06 only has 20 more hp than the 2001 z06. So your car should make quite a bit more hp than a stock 02 Z06. Your car probably puts out somewhere in the neighborhood of 370 to 380 rwhp. A stock 2002 Z06 is somewhere between 340 to 350 rwhp.

I was at Sacramento raceway a few weeks ago at test and tune day--Most C5's were in the middle 13's being close to stock with bolt ons and no hds/cam.The stock z06's with bolt ons and no hds/cam were all in the middle 13's or maybe low 13's(13.20-12.90 ) Of course there were many Z06's and C5's going faster with hds/cam or blowers or NOS--So those were all over the map.60' times are critical to go fast- and that usually requires drag radials--With stock type tires the typical 60' times were around 2.20-1.90---With drag radials they come down quite a bit to around 1.60 to 1.80--Almost a 1/2 second left on the table with any combination.

I have an opened up stock air box, 80mm BBK TB, dynamax long tubes, X-pipe and Borla Stingers. That should be very similar to your car and mine put out 372RWHP on a Mustang dyno a week or so ago.

I would expect faster than mid 13's with a Z06. My 01 M6 (non z06) runs 13.1 @ 108 with very crappy 60' times (run flats). You should be in the upper 12's with any decent tire.
