parking brake handle question

remove passenger side carpet - there are 3 torx head screws that hold handle onto tunnel - remove these screws - then you have to remove the plug that goes around the cable and seals the hole in the tunnel where the cable goes thru - then you have to disconnect the handle cable from the rear cable - essentially the cable which is attached to the handle is only about 2 feet long -

Taking the right seat out (easy) is a big help in giving you the room you need. The brake boot is held in place by some fasteners, access to one of which requires the removal of the console (IP trim panel) panel(s).
Not hard, just a bit tedious.
