I have read different searches but would like to hear some more info. It first came up on the DIC Service ABS/ Traction Control when I started my 01 Z06. It lasted until I turned the car off then back again, then I pulled the C1214 code. That was about 3 weeks ago and did not come on again until start up yesterday and lasted until I turned it off and let sit for a couple of hours and then it went off. It came on again today and now hours later it is off again. If it has anything to do with it, it never came on until I lowered the car.
The code indicates there is a potential problem with the internal relay in the EBCM. However, before replacing the EBCM you should check the ground at G103 and the B & G terminal pins in the EBCM connector for a poor connection or corrosion.
You should also
Disconnect the pump motor harness pigtail connector of the BPMV.
Measure the resistance between each pump motor control circuit and the housing of the BPMV at the pump motor harness pigtail connector of the BPMV. If the measurement doesn't read over limit for any of the circuits the EBCM and the BPMV could both need to be replaced. If the reading is over limit the damage is limited to the EBCM.
