How do you clean a Vortex Ram air filter?

How do you clean a Vortex Ram air filter?
I have a K&N cleaning and oiling kit sitting around the garae. Is it okay to use this, or do I have to perform some other "magic"? Thanks! :flag

The K&N cleaning kit is fine with the Vortex filter, just not with the Donaldson. Just follow the directions with it, and don't over-oil, so you don't get oil film on the MAF wires. Be patient letting it dry.
