Melrose Header an Exhaust system
A buddy of mine is looking to buy some long tube headers, high flow cats an X-pipe for his 03 Z06 an Corvettes of Houston has a system called Melrose header an exhaust system, cost about $1700. Does anyone have any info on this system Good or bad? Any problems installing the system? What type of performance did they get from the system? Any help would be appreciated.

The melrose system is awesome. My friend had one on his 99 FRC, he installed it himself in a day. I had a shop do mine. Couple of links below.

I have had that system for 3 years great system for sure . when I bought them they were called Grizzlys .......

Thanks for the replies fellas. It seems not alot of people talk about that system. They seem to cost just as much as the well know systems so what was the deciding factor to make you choose this system over Kooks or LG 's ? (No disrespect to any of those systems)

I've had the Melrose (under Grizzly name) headers with Random Tech cats for over a year and still love them as much as the day I had them put on. With a Haltech Stinger and dyno tune, I am putting down 385/375.
Deciding factors were the fact that they are made locally and came highly recommended by my Vette shop (HP Corvettes in Mundelein, IL) who showed me a set on a Vette that had been on for 5 years and still looked brand new.
