Removing the plastic valley cover

Removing the plastic valley cover
I know this is a very basic quesion but I don't want to break the tabs on the valley cover. Do I just grab each end of the cover and tug upward to snap it off or is there another place to pull up or a different procedure I should use? Thanks in advance, Ron

Perhaps I used the incorrect terminology- it's the black plastic flat cover that is covering the valve covers/injectors. I want to remove it to install a catch can. Thanks, Ron

You mean the fuel rail cover.
There are 2 clips on top, and 2 on the bottom. Unsnaps rather easily, simply pull it away from the engine, you won't break them.
