Headers with a Corsa X-Pipe?

Headers with a Corsa X-Pipe?
A few months ago when my tuner installed my Corsa Indys and X-Pipe, he said that if I ever wanted to put on headers that I wouldn't be able to use Corsa's X-Pipe. I didnt get into the details of why with him but now that I'm thinking of installing headers, I would like to know other opinions of why it wont work.... or will it?

Sounds like 
to me... Here's a pic of a mock up of my system with a comparable X Pipe..
In this setup I have to add a 10" (approximale) section of 3" pipe between the highflow and the Reducer (bolted to the X Pipe)...

I had the same Corsa setup...When I got the American Racing Headers with HI FLO cats the X pipe was no longer needed. AR's and Corsa Indys= WOW!
