Default 2nd to 3rd full throttle shift - Need Help

I recently bought a 2002 MY vert. Yesterday, after breaking the car in for about a thousand miles I decided to let loose a little bit. After shifting from 2nd to 3rd I let the clutch out and put the gas pedal to the floor. The car didn't continue accelerating. Instead, it paused for about 1 second before kicking in and accelerating again. I thougt it might be a fluke. Later that day, I tried it again, and it happened again. This time I noticed that the DIC was telling me the traction control was turned off.

Has anybody had this problem also? If so, what is the problem?

I've turned my traction control off while in motion and the DIC tell me it is off and it actually still be on causing my car to "miss" so I don't lose traction when I get on it.

You have to turn the traction control off at a complete stop. Then it will be disengaged. The loss of power you are experiencing is because your traction controll is still on and was activating due to the power you were transmitting to the rear wheels.(meaning the tires were losing traction) :yesnod:
