Default Rotors & pads

I'm fixin' to replace my rotors and pads and noticed a nice rotor package on the Corvette Garage website... The rotors are the Sport Rotor package (drilled & slotted) and I'd also like to use the AC Delco Ceramic pads.

Does anyone have any experience with these parts? I don't do any racing, just mostly commuting to and from work.

Thanks for any opinions!

for any kind of aggressive driving I would stay away from that combination. D/S rotors are more prone to crack and ceramic pads do not stop you as well when they get hot.

That being said for your average driver they will be ok. Just check to see the quality of the rotor you dont want junk.

I installed Baer Eradispeed Rotors (slotted & cross drilled) and cermaic pads. Very happy with both. Delco ceramic will do fine. And......they look really good on a white C5

I use Baer rotors & EBC (red) pads. The stopping power works just fine for daily use with the occassional racing.

These pads also produce litterally zero brake dust. If you choose to go with those pads, be sure to break them in. Do so by doing some 20mph slow stops. There will be a little squealing at first during the break in, but after that it will be gone.
