Need help with squeaky suspension (T1 BARS) !!!!!!
Since I put on the T1 bars, my car squeaks over bumps. I figured it was the poly bushings holding the sway bars and took a can of WD 40 and sprayed a little on them.......now it sounds like there is an orchestra under my car!!!! Why would the lube make them louder??? It is annoying and embarrassing!! Anyone have suggestions for a fix???
Everybody I know that has run these bars has complained about the noise from them. I guess it is just one of them things you have to live with if you want the stiff race-like ride quality of the t1 setup.

The only noise I had with mine were the end links hittting the sway bar and the sway bar hitting the lower control arm.I replaced the the end links with the solid metal ones and they are fine now.

Oliver:
Basic question: Did you use the Sticky Teflon Grease that should have come with the polyurthane bushings? Sorry, but had to ask. The "special" grease should prevent the squeaking if you put it on thick in the bushings prior to install. WD40 is a cleaner/penetrating oil that will disolve greases and compound your squeak problem. Get some of the Polyurthene bushing grease, take the sway bar out of the bushings, goo the he!! out of them with the grease and reinstall. Large swaybars have a tendency to want to bind and squeak even with the grease. Make sure that the bushings are completely closed around the sway bar and centered in the bushing retaining clamps.
