Default Raptor shift light question....

With the help of this forum, I have installed a Raptor shift light in my 2000 MN6 Coupe.

It doesn't seem to be accurate!

It didn't go off at high RPMs so I lowered it to 3000 RPM to test. It went off around 3800 RPM!

Does anybody have any idea why this thing is 800 or so RPM off?

Thanks,
Ray

Make sure you have it set on V8.

According to the instructions, the LS1/LS2/LS6 are supposed to be set to the '4 cylinder' mode.

I figured it out! The unit is black and the little sliders are white. So it only makes sense that on the instructions that the SLIDERS are BLACK and the UNIT is WHITE!

I'll ask the obvisous. You set both dials?

If you did. When you set dails with car off and start up there is a flash sequence first it will flash "x" amount of times for each 1000 rpms then it will pause and flash "x" amount of times for each 100 rpms.

It only does this when you make a change.

Make sure the dials agree with the flashes.
