After getting my 99 "race car" coupe this past weekend I started acquiring my first mods. Today was the day to put them on...

First had to make boards to drive the Vette up on so I could get the jack under it. After TWO trips to Home Depot I finally got them made.
Got it up on jackstands no problem.

First put on the front Z06 sway bar. In my rush I did not pay attention how the original bar was oriented. After laying there trying to figure it out I finally got it on.

Next, put on the B&B Bullet exhaust. Taking the OEM exhaust off is a major PITA. Finally got it off after what seemed an eternity. Installed the rear Z06 bar. Again, didn't pay attention how the old bar was installed. I layed it on the ground the way it came off. BUT I kicked by accident when taking the old exhaust off and it went sliding down the driveway.

Finally got the exhaust on. It is BAD!

While I had everything off I also lowered the Vette. It it cold and it started drizzling and I have been at it for over 10 hours so all I got to do was drive it around the block.

Hopefully I get a chance to drive it this weekend. Chances of snow and rain tomorrow.

Still neeed to put the B-K harness bar and harnesses in.

I am entered in an open road race at the end of April and an HPDE in July. Can't wait to get this baby on the track.

I sort of feel bad because I told the lady I bought it from that it was going to a good home and I would take care of it. I talked to her the other day and she said she almost started crying when I drove off.

Oh well, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. And it did go to a good home and I am taking caring of it.
