AC on and rough idle / stalling problem
When my car (C5 vert) is parked in the garage overnight and during the day at work, the car idles and doesn't stall when AC is on.
However...when the car is parked outside for period of time, or when I start it again shortly after stopping, the idle is rough and car stalls when AC is on. When I turn AC off, car is fine. If I drive car for 5 minutes or so and turn AC back on, idle will be fine again.
I know the AC is supposed to trigger a higher idle response and that seems to work in the garage situation....is there something to having the engine cool or outside temp reading cooler?
What electronics, etc. are associated with AC being on? Will Idle relearn procedure with AC on work?
The car is heavily modified with cam, heads, header, ECM software, etc...however all this was fine until now.
Thanks much
