What Happens When..............
What happens when a tire and rim with a 2001 and beyond air pressure sensor is placed on a 97-2000 vehicle?
Will there be an error code on the DIC or just not register?
Most of the thinspoke with tire deals I come across are 2001 or newer. I know the sensors could be swapped out, but what if they weren't and the wheels were and installed on the car?

It would be the same as not having a sensor on that wheel. It wouldn't be recognized and would cause an error to show up.
