Help with breather hose
How does the clamp on air cleaner breather hose work? Trying to remove and do not want to break it. This is the small hose about 1 inch in diameter. Going to put on Blackwing. Checking some things before I start. Thanks in advance.

I have heard that you need to get a new one. You may also try using a small screwdriver and twisting to see if it will come a part. The clamp should not be too much at an autoparts store.

The clamp is a small ratchet type, as you squeez it, the teeth ratchet together and hold tight. I always remove mine by pushing sideways on the opposite ends of the clamp to disengage the teeth from each other, then you can use it over again. A small screwdriver pushing sideways on one of the sections with the teeth has always disengaged it for me.
