where is the best place to order the tools needed to remove the engine from a 2003 corvette ? ive been told you can rent some of them at advance auto but most of them you have to buy!
hydrolic clutch line seperator, drive line support, and engine lifting brackets are what i cant find
All you need is a hoist and a few jacks. Use a open end wrench (5/8 or 3/4, I forget which one) to separate the clutch line. No specialty tool is needed to remove the engine with the exception of the fuel line disconnect. What is an engine lifting bracket?

I tink he either means the hoist, or the optional bracket that chanins to the engine and then to the hoist, that you can crank and it tilts the engine. There's nothing real special about the tools needed, just did it myself. Just the fuel line tool as spoke about before, several jacks, and some good tall jackstands, well, almost forgot, a good supply of beer!! Good Luck!!
Exactly. The best way to do it is to take the engine out the bottom (i.e. lift the car over the engine). It works well, I just helped a guy do it to his 02' a couple months back. One of the most fun weekends I've had in years.
