Has anyone had a problem with a gap problem after they have installed the side seat bezels? I removed the stud that is for the newer and improved seats since mine is a 98. All I can think is that I need new sport seat foam? Please help as it looks really stupid right now and I am 6'1 and 280, so these new bezels will not last long. Thank you!
The revised bezel with the upper post draws the bezel into the seat material.
The earlier seat can be modified to accept the upper post.
See "my corvette photos" in my avatar section to see images of modified seat.
take a 2in washer and pop rivet to seat frame, drill hole to accommodate the post.
My [98] seats had excessive gap prior to this modification.
I think you are talking about the stud that I removed with my dremel that goes into the side of the seat right? I was told by Chevy to remove it since I had a 98.
Ok, I guess I can remove them for now until I make this custom. I didnt know all the Vettes have this problem. I used to have another 98 and I dont remember the problem Thank you!
