I have a 2003 MN6 and the column lock recall has been done. I got my vette out of storage today after jump starting it. After about 1.5 hours of driving the "service steering column lock" came on. From my reading, this likely has something to do with the jump start/low voltage. I thought that vettes of this vintage with the recall done shouldn't be driveable with this condition. Mine seems to drive fine. Also, am I correct in my understanding that this condition will correct itself once the battery gets charged up? How long should that take? It was a brand new battery last October just before going into storage (I had the starter replaced at that time too).
