C5 Z06 Shifter Question
Besides the stock shifter what is the next shifter that provides light/medium shifts with positive engagement?
I like shifters that you KNOW when you're putting it in gear it is "clicking" in the proper gear. Not something you have to man handle to shift gears.
Also I like the shape of the delrin shifter ***** but do they transfer significantly more noise/vibration into the cabin?

Alot of people, myself included, like the C6 Z06 shifter and ****. Do a search and you will see alot of good feedback. Seems to be much better than stock C5, but not has stiff as most aftermarket.

My brother and I just installed a Hurst shifter in my 99 FRC. It's a big improvement over the stock unit. Shorter throw, and the system is designed so that when you take it out of gear 3rd and 4th are straight up or back. So when you want 1st or second you just pull the shifter toward you, and push away for 5th and 6th. 
The **** on the shifter is a ball with a non-slip surface.
Might want to check it out. A lot of people have installed these and as far as I can tell like them a lot.
