Hey guys, so I'm driving today and started noticing a bad hesitation. It was like the car didn't want to go past 3500-4000 RPM. It felt like I was hitting a rev-limiter, or not firing properly. It took a while, but the engine light finally came on. I'm trying to check codes, so someone might be able to help, but they all say "H" after them...meaning they are in history...however the check engine light remains on.
I did replace the MAF and added an intake, but it worked fine on my first test drive for about 30-45 minutes. Then two weeks later (finally drove it again) and she's acting up!! Would this problem be a symtom of an air leak?
UPDATE: I found where my new y-pipe intake butts up against the MAF was loose! I'm just guessing, but I think that screwed up something. I tightend it, but no change. I'm going to swap the MAF back to stock and see if that makes a difference. I'll keep you guys posted...prolly won't do that untill later this week.

FIXED!!! You guys will never belive this one... My intake piping is 3.5 inches, and the SLP MAF is 85mm. Anyhow I thought I would be "slick" and put a thick layer of electrical tape at the end of the y-pipe (just before it meets the MAF), to make an extra tight seal. The tape heated up and slid up the piping, cutting off 1/2 of the intake pipe. I took everything apart, and installed the RIGHT way this time. After a test drive it's pulling like a stuck pig! I must say I had a huge grin on my face after a 1st and 2nd gear run. Bottom line, MAF was being plugged.
