Default Feedback on mild mods

Trying to boost the bottom range of my 2000 c5 m6 car to help out my SOTP feel without going broke(two kids in collage you know what I mean)Mod so far are;
Tie wrap airbox w/k&n filter,p/p TB and Ti mufflers So far really not much gain that I can tell so I started to pick up a few items and would like a little feed back.
These parts are:
New 243 stock heads/clean up ports,0.040 heads gaskets,crower cam 217/226,553/575/114 +4 crower springs/retainers, ls6 intake.Ls6 oil pump,Ls2 timing chain and Ls6 valley pan

Thinking about 1.8 crane rockers, comp pushrods(after checking lenght) and Ls7 lifters(car as 49k miles)
UD pulley and when I get these items on my car have my tuner replace the H pipe with a X pipe when he dyno's the car.(sometime in May)
Looking for strong midrange and around 370+ rwhp @6k, 360 rwt@4800 Then a nice set of 3/4" headers/retune for Christmas
Tell me what you think,
Bobby

That's quite a bit for a low budget. Biggest SOTP kick for me (this side of N2o) was the rear end gears. If you've still got stock 2:73s or 3:15s, think about swapping it out to 3:42s or higher.

Thanks for a reply, the car came with a 3:42 I just wanted some feedback, they are so many ways to go and I can't find anything about the crower cam I got here off the forum.
New heads from Patriot for 430.00(head/valves only)what a deal, I almost pick up a used set and by the time I had them milled I would have had close to 400.00 in them.
The forum here is great. I wish we had something like this when I had my other cars.

Have a nice day!

That cam you selected is small. If you want to feel a real HP change go bigger, at least a 224/230 LSA 114.

I'm not sure about those heads. You get what you pay for. Those heads sound cheap, what are the flow numbers on those? How do they compare to AFR? I have a set of TEA heads that I'm very happy with. They're 1200 completely built up with springs.

All, those mods you are talking about sound like $7K with labor.

The cam looks way to small to feel any difference.Needs to be at least a 224/224 585 114 lsa to start to feel anything and to put the rest of the mods to better use.jerry

You already have a K&N filter, you could FLIP your breather and get Cold Air Induction for zero dollars.

I may have jump a little quick on the cam, all a wanted was something a little hotter than LPE GT2-3 and that tighter lsa did me in I guess, and that name crower I have seen it for years
Thank you all for the input. I worked last night so it lights out for me.
Later,(Fedex just dropped off my little bumpy stick)

That cams OK, but if you haven't already installed it, they could probably take it back and trade out a larger one. You can save money by not getting the 1.8 rockers, too. They basically just increase camshaft lift, and you can do that by getting a bigger cam. Get the Harland Sharp modified stock rockers, for a more reliable rocker arm, at a reasonable cost.
