Trouble Code question

PCM P 1571 (Traction Control Torque Request Circuit)
BCM B 2597 (Traction Control System Switch Circuit)

Is this something I can fix on my own by replacing a fuse or is this something the dealership is going to have to do?
Any idea on the cost, if so?

Also, third brake light went out when the cruise control gave me issues.
Cruise control works now, but the light doesn't? How is that possible when they're on the same fuse?

also getting P 1571 and am going to pull battery to clean contacts between PCM and TAC. That is all I've found by searching on this site. Hope not to have to buy TAC $$$$.

Read the electrical FAQ and check all your ground points before
replacing any $$$ parts.

Particularly when one item on a circuit works, and another doesn't,
that just screams ground fault.
