how is it drivability wise? mileage, so on......

I ran a 230-236 112 +2 XE-R in my H/C 346. With a Speed Density tune it ran smoother than my friends 224-224 114 setup. I still averaged about 18 overall but got 26 or so on highway trips.

I believe he is stating that all depends on how good or bad the tune is will determine how well the driveability is.

It's all in the tuning... I have a 232/240 cam (G5-X2) on a 114 lobe... drives almost like stock most of the time and gets about 26-27mpg highway.

It can act up and want to die after a hot start and if I'm in stop/go traffic w/ the fans on it can get finicky... it just needs more TLC.

Was this a direct swap or did you need to fly-cut the pistons ?? I ask because I'm looking to go in that same direction.

yeah i am curious to run a big cam like that but wanted to know if u had to valve relief the pistons?????
