Default getting louder exhaust without headers?

what can i do to a C5 Z06 to make it louder besides a different catback and a X-pipe?

i have Bassani Street comp catback and a magnaflow X-pipe going in, what else can i do?

here is the tricky part, i have to keep some kinda cats in place

opinions? Magnaflow direct replacement cats

Is the Bassani exhaust installed? If not, you may want to see how you like it because you might not want it any louder. I had the Bassani cat-back on my C4 and if the C5 version is similar, it will be loud enough - trust me.

Try the H/C mod. It really cranked up the volume on mine.

I agree with try what you have. The Bassani is pretty loud. Other wise you may want to consider the A & A muffler bypass. Under 1800 RPM the exhaust is pretty normal. At 1800 and up, you are pretty much bypassing the mufflers and running nearly straight exhaust. Cost is usually less than a hundred bucks and is a great mod for the money.

the bassani is on, and i would still like it louder,

i dont really want to cut the stock mid section in half to add a x-pipe, thats my primary concern right now

Wow, I have the Bassani street/comp system as well and I can't believe you want it louder. I will say that after I added the complete Dynamax header, hi flow cats, and x pipe system to the mix it was even louder that with the cat back alone. It really turns heads now.

Why don't you want headers? You can get them with high flow cats.
