I just got a set of 36's. Can I run these without adverse affects? Will I need the car tuned to run these? They were free so the price was perfect for me, just need to know if they will help.

Stock 28.8 are good to 440+ rwhp. What are your mods? Yes, you need to adjust the PCM for them.

Currently all I have done is gutted cats, slp loudmouths and bassani x-pipe. I have Kooks longtubes however they are not installed yet. I will be installing a X1 cam on a 112LSA and a pully so I was going to do injectors then if it is a worthwhile mod. I was almost sure that at this point they would not prove worthwhile. Thanks for your reply.
Injectors don't make hp, they FEED hp. If your engine doesn't need the fuel, they're a waste. FYI you will DEFINITELY need to reflash your ECU to compensate for the larger injectors.
I don't fully agree with 90droptop, my injectors were at 130% and we had fueling issues and I only put down 412 SAE rwhp (440 uncorrected, 425 STD). In my opinion anything after 420rwhp MIGHT need injectors...each car is different, saying that you can safely put down 440 hp with 28.8's is a recipe for trouble if people don't REALLY monitor things closely.
One sure thing is that everyone's car seems to be a little different. I do agree that putting in the injectors with no other real mods is pointless. Do the cam / heads / headers.. then put in the bigger injectors. You MUST change the programming or it will run like crap.
