I have a 2000 Vette with 68,000 miles, with dual zone air. the lights in the A/C and heater display are very very dim. the one in the radio however, is perfect. the radio light britens and dims as it should with the control as designed, but the one in the A/C display is always dim. Know what might be causing this? Thanks!

cracked cold solder joints..
You can fix them yourself or send the unit it to mandigital
email digitalguy_1@charter.net $50 gets it fixed with a 5 year guarantee...
I'll search and see if I can find the fix posting....don't knw if it has made it as a sticky yet
I fixed it really fast and easy as shown, however, now my button lights do not work. the ones that say off, auto, fan speed, etc. This is the ones that come on when your lights are on, with your dash lights and the ones on the door controls, not the little red/orange lights that show what button you pressed. These work fine. did i break this when i fixed the display, or is this a seperate problem? thanks!
