OK.........I'm about to get a check for approximately $3500 for my getting run off the road incident. The Magnesium Rims are beat up some, but useable. No body damage. So here are my options.............

Tough call. Depends on what is more important to you, power or looks. I think I would have to say I would go for the HRE wheels and wait until you can do heads AND cam AND headers. Of course this is just my opinion.

Dag Matt........that sorta surprises me. I thought for sure you would have voted headers and such. I'm thinking, I may be wrong, that I can get maybe another 50-60 RWHP with out porting and polishing the heads. I think I could get damned close to 12.1's with out going into the heads. My car seems to run strong with the few mods I have already.

The HRE's woud be nice :yesnod: but I'm frankly getting bored at the track.
Some better times would definately make it more fun.

I would go for the B1 Cam, Headers and ASP underdrive pulley. Then you should be in roll bar territory. :)

I would go for the more power option. I would also consider the Hennessey package.

Wow, tough call. When I bought my rims they totally changed the look of the car. I don't regret buying them at all. It really separates my car from other C5's. Also if you ever do dedide to sell them then you can always recoup some money whereas with the performance options you lost 100% of your investment. You can also sell your wheels for a decent amount of change or keep them and use them for winter. There is a guy selling some used HRE 543's in the parts section that are fully polished. I think he wants $2400.

Either choice though you can't really go wrong.
