'00 MN6 with a GMPP ASA cam. LS6 springs, stock lifters, stock pushrods (merely for engine insurance measures.)
Anyone with experience that has a suggestion for where I should shift? I'm all too familiar with where my powerband comes in strong - just not sure where I should set the limiter to. I know the best method is dyno, but I don't have that luxury and was just hoping someone has more knowledge in that area.
I plan on swapping to LS7 lifters, along with some sort of non-stock pushrod at that point, so any advice for after the fact would be nice, too.

I have no race experience but the LS1 torque peak is around 4700 RPM. To me it makes sense to shift around 5200 to 5500 so that the engine doesn't drop off as much rpm after the shift into the next gear keeping you in the higher torque curve area when you giveherthegas. I will be watching your thread for the requested info myself. Love to learn about our cars.
