Changing cat-back exhaust
I need to re-install my stock Z06 exhaust. Is it possible to change exhausts by jacking up the rear, not using a lift? How high do you need to get the rear up in the air? I've always done this on a lift before, but I don't have the luxury of doing that this time.

I believe that you have to get the rear end up about 3 feet to put on a ZO6 exhaust. Its definitely possible to do, but being able to put the exhaust on while the car is on a lift is the more prefered way of doing it. Good Luck!

I've done mine in my garage. It is really a PIA. To get an idea, measure the full length of the exhaust and that is how high you need to lift the rear end. If I had to swap them back in, I think I would pay someone with a lift. It's 8 bolts and a 20 minute job on a lift.
