I did a search and did not find anything on this subject.
The switches were working fine when I parked my Z last night. This morning the whole thing is out. My question? Is there a fuse for just this one set of switches since it involves so many electronics? Or, have any on you had the whole thing fail all at once. My car has 60k miles on it, but it in really good shape.
Thanks for the info... but this seems to be a power issue. None of the controls work at all, not even from the FOB. I am going to check it over this afternoon.
I have the same problem, the whole drivers side control panel goes out, the panel doesn't even illuminate. A common problem is the wire connectors that are located in the black accordion style rubber tube that connects the drivers side door with the body of the car. I bet if you open and close the door a few times the wires will correct themselves for a while. Its easy to do at nite with the parking lights on because each time you shut your door just look at the control panel to see when it lights up again and you'll know everything is working again. When I had the problem last(6 weeks ago) I just grabbed the accordion tube and yanked and twisted it a little and the contrlol panel lit up and has worked fine ever since. As you search posts you'll find pictures of the accordion pulled out and the wire connectors exposed so you can see which wires are not seated in the plastic connector. Since mine has worked fine after my yank and twist I haven't tried to permanently fix the problem.

Goodluck
Thanks, this is where I was going to start this afternoon after reading one of the older threads on switch problems....
